The center of this exhibition is religiosity.The artist Tirzo Martha made 3 typical altars out of the collection of the NAAM. The 3 altars consisted out of one Catholic altar, one altar for Anthony of Padua and one altar of 21 Divisions.
The reason the artist was selected for this commission is because of his knowledge and experience with altars. He also incorporates altar forms in his work.
